Met Stadium Seats

I am eventually going to build a media/sports room in my basement and was thinking about putting a couple actual stadium seats in there just for nostalgic reasons.

Does anyone know if someone salvaged all the old seats out of the old Met stadium in Bloomington when they demolished it? If so does anyone out there sell them that you know of? Just wondering what you all know?

lmao, I'll send off a few e-mails and see if anything comes up. I have a few friends that pilfered stuff from the stadium the last game....I would have too if I wouldn't have been so drunk....all I got was a piece of the goalpost. LOL, at least I didn't stick my tongue to it on the walk to the car.

Holy shit. I am the same age as Sam and I fricken know what the Met is. How could you be a vikings fan and not know? Jesus sam brush up on your vikings history. Maybe ask your brother.

I know people walked off with complete sections of seats so I know they're out there.

They might not be be willing to part with them.

You could try putting an ad out on eBay's "Want it Now".

Yeah I might do that, I found some other stadium ones, but not the Met. I am afraid if you go looking for some how much they might cost. Not like when someone else is actively trying to sell the ones they have it is a different demand situation.

Anyway just wondered if anyone had ever heard of any.

I already received a reply from one friend that I haven't talked to in about 15+ yrs and he said, "heyasshole, thanks for keeping in contact. Now you want the seats I stole? They're not for sale and never will be." lmao, I guess that's your answer from my end. We did end up talking to each other on the phone, so Turboe, you caused a few old buddies to get reunited for a few minutes for whatever that's worth. Good luck!
