MeMo injury prone?
Well folks, for all of the bashing everyone does on here about Bennett being injury prone (myself included), MeMo might not be much better. He was setting the world on fire last year and BAM, sprained ankle. Now last night he runs with the first teamers, and he sprains his ankle again! Now granted, he says it feels fine, but I just don't want us jumping all over Bennett's ass, when we've never seen Moore last past 3 games.

Re: MeMo injury prone?
It seems like the only backs that don't get hurt are 3-5 stringers. I hope everyone heals quickly and we establish a number 1 back.

Another great sig by PPE!

Re: MeMo injury prone?
exactly my point. dont say a player that we only seen for 3 games is our future and say our RB now is injury prone when the same can be said for your guy.

Re: MeMo injury prone?
I think that using the term injury prone is a lot like law. You are assumed not to be injury prone until you prove otherwise. Not the other way around. A player shouldn't have to come out and prove that they're NOT injury prone. Bennett has been injured a lot since he was drafted, and so he has earned the label. Moore hasn't. Simple as that. One injury, where he missed 4 games, does not constitute him being injury prone. And as for a bump/bruise on his ankle that causes him to miss 0 games, well, come on...

Thanks PPE for the sig.

Re: MeMo injury prone?
For the last few seasons the Vikes have had really good 2nd and 3rd stringer RB's so I don't think this year will be much diffrent.

Yes, but what I am saying is that he missed a lot of time with the same injury last year. The same injury 2 years in a row could mean something, IMO. I love MeMo, don't get me wrong, but I don't think we should jump to conclusions about him.Hi

Nice title by the way

Re: MeMo injury prone?
Mewelde Moore had six carries for 21 yards and one catch for 11 in Friday's game vs. San Diego before leaving with a sprained left ankle.
There was some concern over the injury at first; Moore missed five games with the same injury last year. 'It was just a pop. It felt like it just loosened up some scar tissue,' he said. 'It actually feels pretty good, like an adjustment. It'll probably feel a little sore in the morning, just because of it. But I'll be all right.' He remains in a tight race with Michael Bennett for the starting job.
And as for my title, you're jealous

Re: MeMo injury prone?
moore might be injury prone, but when he is healthy and when bennett is healthy. moore is better, so i think that is why bennett gets so much more crap than memo does
