McNabb has empathy for Jackson
Eagles' McNabb has empathy for Jackson
The veteran quarterback has reached out to the Vikings rookie because he sees similarities with himself when he was breaking into the league.

....McNabb, 30, said he tries to be a mentor to young quarterbacks. He invited Jackson to work out with him in Phoenix next offseason. But, mostly, McNabb felt the urge to encourage a guy who reminds him of himself eight years ago....

Re: McNabb has empathy for Jackson
Tarvaris could probably benifit from offseason training with a established veteran like D.McNabb. It will keep T-Jacks confidence up and the mentoring may settle him down some. They both play the same WCO system and a little film study, and a tip here or there could be helpful in the developement of Jackson.

I am sure he is stepping out on a limb to help our young Jedi cause the guy sucks so bad.
Seriously though, I wonder why outsiders can see the potential but some of us won't let it go and realize he is gonna struggle and not become an instant Joe Montanna or Peyton Manning.

Many many thanks to my talented friend Jos for the new Sig.

The Vikings just need to decide what they are gonna do with him this year...play him and write off the season (cuz he's not gonna figure it out overnight) so that we can figure out if he is the QB of the future right now...OR sit him and let him develop some more (while Holcomb tries to rally the offense).Eagles' McNabb has empathy for Jackson

It is a much tougher decision than most here realize...much easier when you luck into a QB in the sixth round like the Putzies did.BANNED OR DEAD...I'LL TAKE EITHER ONE
