Re: McKinnie on PPO
The latest news is that McKinnie broke his left hand. It looks like he'll be starting in Big D on Sunday.
He would definitely have a tough time posting now with his hand broken.
#74 is a warrior. I think he's made a lot of progress in the new offensive scheme, and he will continue to improve his production. I just hope that hand doesn't bother him too much.

He played with a broken hand against the Bears and had a great game.“What takes a quarterback to the next level is not arm strength or mobility or any of that stuff. It’s the ability to play on critical downs. Manage third downs, or red zones or four-minute or two-minute situations"

Re: McKinnie on PPO
We posted McKinnie's recent blogs, a little late, that he sent us, but just another tidbit or two into a team player excited to reach out to the fans.
SKOL McKinnie and thank you!
It is great to read notes from a player about how things are going from the inside.

Re: McKinnie on PPO
McKinnie is just devastating in his run-blocking. In the Dec 2nd game against the Lions, McKinnie kneeled down after the 2nd or 3rd play of the Vikings offense. He left the game. On replay it looked like a painful knee injury. The announcers started talking about how McKinnie was going to be knocked out of the game and how this was a huge blow and the Vikings would never recover. Artis Hicks went in and did a servicable job. By the end of the drive, the announcers were talking about the huge blocks McKinnie was throwing to open up the touchdown run. I never heard them bring up how he came back in. He was like a ghost. He just slipped back in during the drive.
Pretty awesome. It just shows how much grit and determination and toughness Bryant McKinnie has.
Go Vikings!
