He's looking better and better the more I read this thread.

I don't know if I'm watching the same games as everyone, but it doesn't seem like he is the glaring weakness everyone is making him out to me. I can't find the stat of how many sacks he's allowed, but really I do not think it's that many, it's just that when he has it's resulted in very bad plays, usually fumbles.
Between Brad, Brooks & Tarvaris, the Vikings QB's have been sacked 32 times. I recall a good share of them coming from the left side.

    Here is the breakdown;

    Redskins

    DE Evans 1

    Panthers

    DE Peppers 3
    DT Jenkins 1
    DT Lewis 1

    Bears

    DT Harris 1

    Seahawks

    OLB Peterson 2
    OLB Hill 1
    DT Bernard 1

    Patriots

    LB Banta-Cain 2
    DE Green 1
    DE Seymour 1

    49er’s

    OLB Moore 1
    DT Douglas 1
    DT Adams ½
    DE Young ½

    Packers

    OLB Hawk 1-1/2
    MLB Barnett ½
    DT Jenkins 1
    OLB Poppinga 1

    Dolphins

    DT Holliday 1
    DE Taylor 1
    DE Bowens 1

    Cardinals

    LB Dansby 2

    Bears

    DE Brown 1
    NT Johnson 1
    DE Ogunleye 1

From that list, I can't decifer exactly how many of them were from McKinnie's end

    Anyone?

    Re: McKinnie gets nastier

That list only adds up to 29.

Before you read this remember that the offense's left is the defense's right.

Demetric Evans is a RE so that is McKinnie's side.

No one on Carolina with a sack on his side.

We obviously remember the Tommie Harris sack.

Rocky Bernard is a DT, but the 2 linebackers are potentially McKinnie's fault, depending on what type of blitz they were on, If they were blitzing the righ C gap its most likely his fault, but that would mean he had to pick up the defensive end and LB, I'd like to see anyone take Grant Wistrom and pick up a blitzing Julian Peterson at the same time.

The Pats Im unsure about since they run the 3-4 and they play inside the the Tackles, so it could be him or Hutch, and since it was the Pats those sacks most likely came on big blitzes, thats what I recall.

The 49ers play the 3-4 also, but all of their players with sacks are on the right side, except their DTs, who are most likely nose tackles.

The only one on the Packers who might have had a sack at McKinnie's expense is Poppinga, but he's a linebacker so who knows, but notice Kabeer Garbagemanamila had no sacks.

Jason Taylor and Bowens are both on the right side for miami.

    Dansby is a LOLB.

Brown on the Bears is a RE.

McKinnie has has given up somewhere between 4-8 sacks, depending on what happened during the play, blitzing LB vs DE a judgement call, even if he's technically credited with a sack there, what is he supposed to do? It's a pick your poison type thing.

It adds up to 30. I went thru all the games & double=checked them & they only give sack credits to other teams in 30 instances.

    Brad was sacked 25 times
    Brooks was sacked 6 times
    Tarvaris was sacked once

I'm not sure if the other 2 came from loose balls that Brad fell on or what, but all the stats came from NFL.com

    Neither did Urlacher.

    That requires some intelligence...
    ;D

Man you would have hoped getting paid 1billion dollars was enough to motivate him to run through his blocks and play nastier lol.
