There was another presser the next day where McCarthy did an about face and said the organization was going in another direction.
I truly believe the decision was Ted's and McCarthy wanted his 13-3 QB back for one more year.
Yes I believe he does respect Brett.
In fact, he hasn't done too well since, has he now?
If they really respected him they would have let him play for us last year as he wanted.
