Re: Maybe a stud TE?
Rather then having to choose one in the draft I would like to see Richard Angulo step up and show that he belongs on the roster instead of our PS where it seems like he has been forever since his 6' 8" size would be great to use in the redzone.

Hey Singer, I realize the stats and know that they don't look good if you take it as black and white."ejmat" wrote:

The offense is fine.
They move the ball fine.
have scored 4 offensive touchdowns & are 18/60 on 3rd down conversions.
However, if you put the rest of what I said in there (dropped passes and penalties) are the main reason for all of those stats.
My replies here have been about whether or not we need a stud TE.
IMO we don't.
We could better use a proven WR that can actually hang on to the ball.
If the dropped passes stop and penalties be held to a minimum we have moved the ball just fine.
Then once we move the ball we need to shoot for the endzone.
I know everyone cares a lot about stats here but they are all not black and white.
There are variables as to why the stats are like they are.
I just don't think getting a stud TE at this time would help the situation.
My comment that you quoted was talking about the offense as a whole.
I know you've been watching the games as I have.
That being said they have moved the ball as good as half the league.
It's getting in the endzone that is the main problem.
We need to take more shots at the endzone when we are in the redzone.
Wiggy and Sass can do that already.
We just need to get the WRs to catch the balls.
We've had 2 dropped TD passes (TWill and MRob).
When we have taken the shots to get in there we either have scored or had dropped passes.
Everyone is piocking on this offense as if it was the worst in the league.
We are right at the average point.
We just need to get more 6s than 3s.

Too many times this year the defense has had Taylor wraped up behind the line of scrimmage just after he gets handed the ball. They are getting way to much penetration.

Those who execute without mistakes will win.
We've made far too many mistakes this year...
