Maurice Hicks is willing to chip in as needed
Vikings' Hicks is willing to chip in as needed
Though the Vikings' star-studded backfield is crowded, the free-agent signee knows his versatility will be useful.

Re: Maurice Hicks is willing to chip in as needed
Thanks for the read my friend....I see a reoccuring theme of late.
Does anyone else?
Why would a free-agent running back sign with a team that has an emerging superstar and an established veteran in the backfield?Maurice Hicks had other options with teams that had more carries and playing time to offer.Man it is nice not to have to listen to the whole "No one wants to come play here cause of the Chiller" crowd this year..... ;D"I really liked what the Vikings had going on," said Hicks, who spent the past four seasons with the 49ers. "I saw them as a team on the rise. I wanted to be a part of that. My whole thought process coming in here was to give these guys another handMany many thanks to my talented friend Jos for the new Sig.

Time spent annoying a Packer fan is never time wasted...

Re: Maurice Hicks is willing to chip in as needed
nice to hear, but I would still have rather kept Moore.
He was a great 3rd down back for us, reminds me a lot of Brian Westbrook.
And he can really pack a punch for such a little guy.
One play stands out for me, the first game against the Bears last year, on 3rd and 11 (i think, it was long anyway)
Moore ran a draw, ran over Urlacher and bounced off two other guys for the first.
Ill miss that.

so Marr, I'm kinda half in the the loop with the whole spreadsheet thing.
Do you release annual updates at where we stand, or is it just for you?

It is way to complex and the size of info contained in it alone would require another server.
I am thinking about adding another column though reserved for EX PUKER player crotchsniffers.
;D
Key note (Rest assured, you are moving nicely up the spread sheet my friend.)

Marrdro, party of 1.........
I'll defend any Vikings player that I feel is being unduly bashed, simply because that poster doesn't care for him & looks for any little thing to nitpick on.
Yet when "their guy" does the same exact thing, you here nothing from them.
I see that a hell of a lot here.
