    Matt Blair book signing

Matt Blair (former Viking linebacker) had a book signing tonight at the Mall of America - I stood in line for two hours and got his autograph on the book (called "To Be A Viking"), along with the autographs of several other past Viking greats: Mick Tinglehoff, Stu Voight, Rufus Bess, Rickey Young, Carl Eller, Bob Lurtsema, Fred McNeil. Jerry "Coach Uncle Burnsie" Burns was there, too, but he left by the time I got through the line. Said he wasn't feeling well. Oh well, I had a great time anyway! I also recommend the book to anyone who is a Viking fan! And a portion of it (it cost about $26.00) is going to the Special Olympics, so it's well worth the purchase price!

    Sweet!

Wasn't Anglo inquiring about that book? I know he is coming to town. Will there be another signing that he could go to?

I'm trying to get my wife to get me this for Christmas.....she says I never read, last year I asked for Smith's book and didn't get it and that's why I haven't read a book lately.

Can I borrow you book after Christmas Shock?

Here's a link to order it online from the publisher:

Wish I could have been there for the signing, but I had prior engagements.

Sure there won't be, least not while I'm in town  Still will it be the likes of Barnes & Noble stores downtown or is it only likely to be available at the MOA ?

I'm still pissed at Matt Blair. I won a contest back in the 70's for selling tickets to a Vikings/local people BB game and they gave me an Allan Page jersey and the various players signed the jersey. Matt Blair used a rubber stamp...didn't even sign the jersey. What a jerk.

I'm glad he has learned how to write his name now, at least you got an autograph!
