    Matt Birk on Minnesota Vikings...

Great stuff, this guy is all class.

Matt Birk on Minnesota Vikings: 'They've got championship-caliber stuff'

"I truly do feel that the way the Wilf family is getting the hang of this ownership thing, I don't think it will be too long until the Vikings are winning a championship. I loved the way they ended this year (with) those four wins."

    Cont...
I agree with him too, was thrilled with the way this year went. Everyone picked us for the NFC North cellar dweller, but we won some hard-fought games and ended up in the playoffs. (with an MVP player...)

Nice to see him speaking so highly of us. Always liked Birk and glad that he has a ring on his finger now.

Birk is a class act. I ran into him after a game at Matty B's once, and he was working all of the tables, talking to everyone. He stopped and chatted with us for 5 minutes, took pictures, signed a couple of things for my friend's class (he is an elementary teacher). And he did this for every table. Great guy, and I was sorry to see him go.

I am glad he got a ring, even though I was pulling for the 9ers.

When are you going to realize that picking out the 20 bad throws this year and ignoring the 300 good ones does not make your point?

Felt good for Matt, getting the ring. Felt bad for Randy, not getting one. Felt nothing for McKinnie.
Why must you defend everything this FO does....to the point of making your self look like a yes man.

Thanks for sharing, i look forward to meeting hom someday.

Birk is the real thing. Think about it: Harvard graduate, succeed in life with a bride and a family, and play for the Vikes and Ravens, multiple Pro Bowls, Super Bowl ring. Damn, that's pretty impressive.

I hated to see Birk go, he is a Viking in my mind.

In addition to the what Birk said, I liked what AP said at the NFL awards while he was on stage.

I want to come back and win the ultimate team award (not this individual award) with my coach.

When people believe, they can do many many great things. AP believes in the coach, the coach is a product of the owners. This is a top down quality people team. Frazier seems like he comes from the Dungy mold, a solid individual.

Now I will sit back and wait for AP's premonition to come to fruition.
