    Vikings | Team hires Toma to fix practice fields

    The Associated Press reports the Minnesota Vikings have hired turf guru George Toma to fix their practice fields. He will work as a consultant at the team's Winter Park practice facility. Winter Park has one indoor field with artificial turf and two fields outdoors with natural grass, which have taken a beating over the years from the harsh Minnesota winters and wet springs. Considered the foremost expert on groundskeeping, Toma has been the NFL's turf consultant for every Super Bowl and was honored by the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2001 with the Daniel F. Reeves Pioneer Award, an award that had only been given four times in nearly 30 years.

    wow, wouldnt have thought the turf needed work but great look getting the best guy
