talent like that doesn't come along very often..some say he is height challenged, the ones that worry about his height will stay away, But I still feel he will be off he board before we pick.

yea, as far as that goes, The besides the Raiders, the Vikes don't seem to be bothered with character issues. Id being thrilled to see him there at 8.

If they take Clowney it might work out for us. The first scenario probably plays out like this 1. Bridgewater 2. Clowney 3. Bortles 4. Manziel. The Jags and Browns aren't going to trade with us because they need a franchise QB as well. So we would have to trade with the Rams and it would be very costly.
The second and best scenario is that the Texans take Clowney, The Rams take OT Matthews, The jags would take Manziel or Bortles. So we could get one if the Raiders don't want a QB (which they need desperately) and trade with us. This would cost us probably a first and second this year or a first and a third this year and a third next year. Raiders first round value (1,700) Vikings first (1,400) second (500) Or Vikings first (1,400) third (230) and our third next year ?
Either scenario is tough if we want a Franchise QB. My thought is we could draft the BPA with our first and trade a second round pick for Mallett.
There s only two things stopping you - fear and common sense!! The Truth you CAN"T HANDLE THE TRUTH!!!!!!!!
