http://twitter.com/lakeshow73/status/24131394647Source tells me Vikes making a play for V Jack. Not sure if anything eminent. I have NOT confirmed or got a denial from Vikes.

Re: Major Trade Incoming?
Whats up with only giving the ball to Harvin 2 times?
Man... Childress is Vanilla. Please let this trade include one RANDY MOSS!

Re: Major Trade Incoming?
First ... V.Jack is only suspended THREE games ... and at the end of this weekend will have served ONE of them.
So he would miss the next two and then be eligible. Meaning he would have THREE full weeks of practice with us before playing in Game 4 on Week 5 ... potentially playing in at least 5 games before Rice gets back. So those saying he doesn't help us are off.
He is VERY similar type receiver to Sidney. My worry is that they would give up a receiver (Berrian) to get him and leave us VERY short vs. the Fins and Lions.
Of course ... we all want and would kill for it to be Randy Moss. But if there really is a major trade in the works. It is for V. Jack more than likely.

I don't know a lot about the NFL's suspension policy, but Roethlisberger cannot practice during his suspension. They were suspended for different reasons, but do the same guidelines apply to any suspended player? In which case VJ would not have those weeks of practice with the team.First ... I am almost sure V-Jax can practice. Though does not really matter. His suspension would end after Game 3 (the Lions game) and he could be at practice that Monday and for two weeks before our next game because it is the bye week.midgensa wrote:

Two weeks would be plenty to get him in shape.

Re: Major Trade Incoming?
I don't really know why, but I don't really want Vincent Jackson. There is just something that is not right... God knows what.
If it should happen then please do NOT cave in as easily as "whoever-runs-the-show" did with the Giants!!!

Re: Major Trade Incoming?
If they operate the way they have been we will probably take our most productive player from last nights game and trade them for a future 6th round pick. Otherwise I don't see them doing anything unless Wilf stepped in and gave them an order.

We're not losing much by giving up Berrian. Camarillo will have more catches than Berrian this season. I trust Logan Payne's hands more than Berrians. Seriously. I have to close my eyes and start praying everytime Berrian lines up as Punt Returner. My worry is that they would give up a receiver (Berrian) to get him and leave us VERY short vs. the Fins and Lions.None
