Thread: Madieu Williams & Jared Allen Doubtful Vs Bucs

I say Allen Starts, M Williams I bet he sits I know he's a solid Safety when he plays what he has played.
Johnson will more than likely start. Maybe Madieu should be using Sharper's Hyperbolic Chamber?

a stud , dude would play in a body cast , Williams I hope he can go , he's a veteran safety , not saying Johnson isn't coming along nicely , but there is something to be said for having two vets in the cover 2.

So I read the article and I'm reasonable sure it never said that Allen is doubtful.
It just said that MW was doubtful but mentioned that LAST week JA was doubtful but still played.
Did anyone actual check what JA's status actually is this week?

Eden Prairie, MN (Sports Network) - Minnesota Vikings safety Madieu Williams may miss Sunday's contest at Tampa Bay with a shoulder injury, while defensive end Jared Allen's shoulder has improved.

I dislike it that Williams is getting paid and hasn't played but only a game.
I totally understand the injury thing and don't want guys playing when hurt.
It just sucks is all.

Though widely expected not to play due to a shoulder injury, Vikings safety Madieu Williams is active and will start against the Bucs in Tampa, per Sean Jensen of the St. Paul Pioneer Press.

Williams had been listed as doubtful on Friday’s injury report.

And so it’s two straight weeks in which a Vikings defensive starter was listed as doubtful but nevertheless played.
Last time around, defensive end Jared Allen played despite a separated shoulder.

Typically, players listed as doubtful don’t play.
