Do you really think Childress thinks he owes anyone an explanation? I doubt if hed even let Ziggy know, hes the man, doesnt have to.

Re: M. Robinson will be released

None the less, the team needs a posesion reciever with height and hands and this proberly means that the staff has their eyes on Dwayne Jarrett who reminds me alot of M-Rob..

Im very sad that M-Rob was cut - he was clearly our best reciever this season...

I love M-Rob but the guy has had health problems throughout his career. He was the most productive of the measly lot of WRs we have. I hope we sign Taylor for a couple a year more though. He makes a solid #2 or #3 WR.

Re: M. Robinson will be released

Can anyone tell me why he didn't wait til seasons end to release him? fairly insulting for a guy who's been mr consistent for the vikings. hopefully childress has got some real targets in mind after learning alot about the wideouts this year. losing koren early in his tenure was a killer, but not many guys have put their hand up to fill the void. personally i think we need a proven deep/big play option which would take the pressure off troy & allow him to develop properly. seems this year he's been asked to be the man far too early & hasn't handled that pressure. travis taylor is a great no 2 or 3 even in the slot. not much else to get excited about

Does that make MRob eligible to sign on with one of the teams that are going to the playoffs???

I always thought our problem was too much depth at receiver.

Hopefully next year we'll be able to get some more Eagle rejects to play WR.

another stupid move. this regime has done a tremendous job with the offense so far. maybe next year our offense can score negative points per game.
at least with steckel he was dumped after one year.

    Yes.
Unfortunately, he's always had problems with back spasms throughout his career.
We'll have to wait and see what the coach says on Wed, if anything at all.
But you must also remember there could be more to this than meets the eye.
