Thread: M. Johnson shouldnt play another down this year!

One of the things that I saw missing from todays game was the 4 false starts by our Right Tackle!
I thought that the offensive line had one of their better games today.

I dont care who the opponant is...a win is a win!

It would be nice to see the line start playing better for the next few games.
It will give something to build on....

Marcus needs to ride the pine for a while until he learns how to play SMARTER!

Rosenthal was in there.

You know, the guy that a lot of fans hated on last year.

I thought I saw Cook in there for a few plays also....
It would be nice if he could develope into our future right tackle.....
As I remember the draft info....he had average skills, but above average in intelligents.
I dont know what the long term answer is....Rosy, Cook, or even Johnson....
I just know that the mental mistakes...ie false starts MUST stop....

If Bollinger can play next week, the other Johnson may be benched as well..

We need to face it, Johnson will be the starter for the rest of the year. At least that's what I think.

I do think that Marcus has some talent, but it was a nice change of pace without him. I think they need to work players like him and T-Will back in slowly, because they were not performing, but definitely have talent and need to get back in the mix to work through kinks.
All of this said ... it was nice to see Rosenthal playing very well the last couple of weeks so that giving Marcus a break to rethink some things has not killed us.

I am not a Marcus Johnson hater....I think he CAN be very good in this league....but it is clear that he isnt ready yet!
Give him some time to learn and to EARN his spot back.
He shouldnt start JUST because he was a high draft pick....he should start when he can do so without the mental mistakes!

I changed the title to reflect which Johnson it is.

Although it is legit, misleading titles are a no-no.

whatever line started today I say stays for the season, they dominated out there.
