Thread: M.Bennett to the Raiders?

Saw a rumor floating around the net today in the same headline as Garcia going to Cleveland that Al Davis is interested in Michael Bennett. What do you all think about this? If the Vikings had the chance to move up for Bennett would it kill you? Even if that meant Udeze or Smith? Amazing what an injury and performance by O. Smith will do to the average Viking fans brain..but if I were General Management I would be tempeted if the price was right.[8]

I would be tempted if it was a real good deal, but I would have major reservations in trading Bennett.

I think they should explore trading Bennett. Smith will make a fine running back and williams is great in goal line situations.

Moe is not going to be around forever. Seems to me that Onterrio would be able to take over his spot quite nicely and provide a very good 1-2 punch with Bennett in about 2 seasons.

Why would the Vikings want to move all the way up to #2 anyway? There is no point in it. They don't need a #1 WR with Moss around, QB is set, Gallery is a LT, and that is set with McKinnie, DT is not a need and you don't need the #2 slot for either Udeze or Smith, So what would be the point?

If we were to do that, I would trade down from the 2 spot to 8-13 in exchange for that pick, a 2nd round & a 4th round.
