Lookin' Good, Kiddos! Congrats & Make Way for the Motha Load
I've come to the conclusion that the Vikings' win over the Packers this past Monday night, was NOT a result -or at least not a major result -of my boys' woes. It appears to me that the Vikings are FINALLY starting to live up to the pre season hype that succomed them. Wow! Sharper had two picks in today's game (this guy must be looking for another pro bowl appearance, eh?!).
Congrats on the win!
And as I posted sometime last week: I believe the Vikings definately have a chance at getting a post-season "ticket."
The only thing that I think the Vikings may want to watch out for are the bears (beat the bucs by a FG...bad offense, but excellent defense as usual). At this point, the Bears look unstoppable. Which team RIGHT NOW can REALLY stop them? I've actually heard some talk about this Bears team being almost, if not as good, as the 1980s Bears' team. And if that's the case, I see no reason why the Lombardi trophy shouldn't be handed over to them right now, eh?
Any-whoo,
congrats on the consecutive wins.BonoSugaRay IS Betamethasone Dunkin

Hey...with the way that some of the other wild card contenders have been losing, we may not have to win the division to make the playoffs...although it would be preferable to win the division outright. I will take the playoffs either way...because if we go in hot, we will probably be capable of beating many of the NFC teams that make it...it's all about timing!
BANNED OR DEAD...I'LL TAKE EITHER ONE

Bono, we love you and all, but I have not heard ANY talk about this being close to the Bears of the 80's. They already have as many losses as the 85 and 86 Bears COMBINED! and there is no Walter Payton, Willie Gault and Jim McMahon here. Also they don't have a defense as good ... I love this defense, but it does not even compare to Buddy Ryan's 46 those years. That 86 Bears team was upset by the Redskins and a crazy performance by Darrell Green otherwise they may have went back-to-back.I've come to the conclusion that the Vikings' win over the Packers this past Monday night, was NOT a result -or at least not a major result -of my boys' woes. These Bears are good, but not even in the same league, breath or sentence as the Super Bowl Shuffle boys.

If Seattle can help us today and with Washington dropping we can start looking for a WC berth. We will need T.Bay and Atlanta to stay behind us though. Bottom line is we only win the tie-breaker with the Giants and maybe the Cowboys by seasons end. The Panthers, Bucs and Falcons all hold tie-breakers over us.

thanks for the compliment bono, and yes the bears appear unstoppable at the moment. why cant they have the colts or the seahaws on their schedule?? at least they still have to face the falcons and the steelers. come on steelers and falcons. and im actually gonna be rooting for the packers in two of their last five games.

magicci,
I don't know about those falcons. They can not be trusted! Didn't my boys beat them a few weeks ago? I think you can count on the Steelers to get the job done, but not the Falcons.
And as far as my packers are concerned: I think if they lose today (currently up on eagle by a point: 14-13), a lot of the starters might get some much needed rest if you know what I mean. Sure, Favre will continue his streak of consecutive starts, but might relax come second half. With that said, I think the packers can get half of the job done (i.e. winning one of two games)BonoSugaRay IS Betamethasone Dunkin
