Look at what Buffalo fans are saying...

...about Big Pat Williams. StarTribune article about Pat stating that Buffalo made a mistake by letting him go (actually called them dumb) --- made it to their forum. Surprisingly, instead of attacking P. Willams... almost everyone wishes they had him back.
Here's what one fan had to say:

"You want statistics to gauge the impact of Pat Williams departure? How about our defenses absolute freefall from #2 to #30 against the run? Secondly, are you suggesting Williams hasn't impacted the Vikes defense? Have you watched any of their games? Are you saying the lavish praise heaped on Williams from his teammates and the press is undeserved? Even when they were getting killed, Tice was singling out Williams as a guy playing his tail off. Why exactly was he doing this?
What about their 6-5 record and 4 game winning streak with Williams and McKinnie, they guy Donahoe passed upon, leading their team in the trenches? Is that undeserved too? Or are the Viikes winning because of their skill players, the fearsome Nate Burleson and Mewelde Moore. Or maybe its because of the indominatble Keith Newman and Sam Cowart. Sure. Despite a noticeable gap in the level of skill players between the Bills and Vikes, they are the better team. Could it have something to do with the line play on both sides? Could it have something to do with the competence levels of both teams general managers? Donahoe has singlehandedly trashed this franchise, and should be put under the next bus leaving town. The blind lemmings on this message board that support him should go along for the ride."

i think we have better skill players than them cept mcgahee.

Our wide receivers= better
Our tight ends= better
our qb= better
our linebackers= better
our db's= better.

I'm telling you what, thats my MVP right there, he's made such a huge impact on our defense its almost unbalievable. The guy is a one man wrecking crew, if you disagree you need to watch film.

nope...

i agree with Napo58 except for the linebacker postion. They got a leg up on us in that department. I think we have a much stronger WR unit then they do, and DB's.

I was going to say the same thing... Takeo Spikes, London Fletcher, Posey --- pretty formible LB corp.

yeah but takeo spikes is out. They only have london fletcher and Jeff posey. I Think we can take em out on that. Plus, our linebackers are so much more talented also.

That is pretty interesting read. I am not surprised that they would want Williams back though.
They definitely are better at RB no question, I think they are also better at LB.
We probably have an edge on them at WR, TE, QB (still), and DB ... though their DB's are decent.

btw, I didn't mean to distract with copying a fans post into this thread, the point I was trying to get across is about 95% of the Bill fans on the board agree it was a huge mistake to let P. Williams get away. Click on the link in the original post to see.

Either you are better or you are not. Hell if we are playing legos here we can be better at all positions.

Vikings are better at LB, I mean if we add Zach Thomas and drop Cowart and pickup Urlacher we are clearly better.
