Yeah, I looked in the Arizona Star on Monday, and I saw that Longwell was named as the NFC outstanding player of the week, and I just had to grin from ear, to ear!

It's kind of disconcerting to think if we were still stuck with Tice and his flunky kicker situations, we'd probably be 0-2

Personaly, i don't remember anyone knocking the signing of Longwell either....How could anyone do that anyways, he's always been one of the top 5 field goal kickers in the league anyways.....That is in recent history anyways, not sure how he was as a young player......

I think he was one of our best FA signings this year for sure....

In St. Louis, the only highlight from the Carolina game was Longwell's TD pass and his field goal.
So when the kicker gets the highlights for a game, he should be the MVP. Longwell has been well respected in the league for years now.

The fake field goal is the play of the year so far.

Atlanta is so desperate for a kicker, that they signed Morten Anderson. He has not played since 2004 and he is 46! I hope he looks good, because it is awesome to see 46 year olds in the NFL.
Reminds me of George Blanda, what a great athlete he was.
