Liwienski hurt in practice

Chris Liwienski hurt his shoulder in practice on Monday(Aug. 15).Here is a quote from Vikingupdate.com

Injuries are always a part of dealing with life in the NFL, but a shoulder injury sustained Monday forced the Vikings to change things up a bit. Guard Chris Liwienski suffered what was thought to be a mild separation of his left shoulder in practice Monday and, until he returns, the Vikings will have to make some major changes to the line.

Because of the injury, Adam Goldberg was moved from left guard to right guard replacing Liwienski, while rookie Marcus Johnson was inserted into the starting lineup at left guard.

Liwienski will be re-evaluated today.

That's no good. The line is sub-par when healthy we can't afford injuries on the O-line.

I'm gonna say his first carry will be for 4 yards and then on his second he'll get hurt!

I read in the paper today that Smoot is day to day and that his last MRI was negative. At least that is good news.

man stupid injury bug didnt leave us after last season.

i might be the only one who might think this but... good. he had more penalties than any other olineman last year... it seemed he nullified at least 5 big gain plays... and he was the first viking to have a offensive penalty in the preseason game... this will him time to work on his concentration...he might be a dumber monkey than tice... give the rookie a shot!
