Lion Ticket Help
I want to buy 4 tickets to the Lions @ Vikings game, but the game is "sold out". I know that they sometimes release some tickets before the game (the tickets the opposing team returns). I would like lower level seating (as close as possible, I'd rather pay a little more and get the good ones).
Does anyone have any tips for me, or am I SOL?
ps. I only want 4 tickets if it's the Lions, 'cause my friend is from Detroit and is a Lions fan, other wise two would do me fine.

Re: Lion Ticket Help
Call Steve at Club Tix. You can get tix at face value from that group if you mention you heard about them from Purplepride.org.

Re: Lion Ticket Help
My brother just told me about a site called craigslist.org. Its like a huge classified section. I looked at the Bears/Vikes tickets and there were a lot of good deal compared with eBay and the other sites.
Try that. http://www.craigslist.org/

Re: Lion Ticket Help
Remember to get atleast 10 rows back or your view will get blocked by the people and players on the sideline. If you are looking for something that close, that is.

Awesome. Thanks Webby and Ultra!
Nothing like watching your team beat up on your friends team, it'll be even better in person!

Re: Lion Ticket Help
The best I can do is (2) tix in section 132 row 3 - 35 YL & another (2) in section 236 row 21. I have 5 together, but I'm using those.
I usually have x-tra tickets to most games. I'm single & so I'm always looking for someone to take the other seat.
I tried to give away a Saints & Bucs ticket here on PPO, but no one was interested.

Re: Lion Ticket Help
Anyone looking for tickets for anything in the Cities, or in L.A., call Club Tix. You get a membership for $30 and you can get tickets to any sold out event.
Heckuva lot better than buying from a scalper, broker, or risking Ebay...and would cost way more than $30 once the brokers mark things up. Plus, they've always bent over backwards to find tickets, and definitely have hookups for Vikings...and not crap seats like many brokers, but good stuff. Heck for the Wild, you can get ON THE GLASS seats at face value. What more can you ask for?
Call Steve and tell 'em I sent you!

The only reason I know that is cause a friend has Texan season tickets that are in row 4 right behind the bench. It is hard to see the plays develop. Also hard to see around the bench players standing on the sideline."snowinapril" wrote:

Also, the closer up you are, the closer you want to be to the 50. Lower row seats near the endzones take away alot of the depth perception when they're playing at the opposite end of the field.Remember to get at least 10 rows back or your view will get blocked by the people and players on the sideline. Frankly, I prefer mid-field row 1 tix in the upper level because I like to see the plays develop, plus there is no one in front of you.
