Thread: Linnehan back with the Vikes ??

I'd love for Linehan to come back as offensive coordinator. Get Loney out of here. What are the chances if Brian Billick is fired that he would come back and run the offense?

Not really sure of his 1 year departure in Miami, I heard he's back there next year? If not, it is hard to go back in time and get a guy who flew out of the nest once already.

I was actually happy when Linehan left, so I definitely don't want him back. I agree that we still need a good offensive coordinator, but Scottie boy isn't it--and I definitely don't want to see him as head coach.

I wouldn't be agaisnt getting linehan back, but i'd rather have some of the names thrown around in the countless "who do we get went Tice gets his ass handed to him" threads.

Linehan made this offense one of the top 5 while he was with us. That says a lot. However, in 2004, he also made some really, really REALLY bad play calls. If he stops those bone headed calls though I wouldn't be opposed to getting him back (compared to who we have now).

I admit, I was a Linehan hater and was calling for his head because of about 3% of the calls he made during his career here. I miss him now.

Linehan,Billick...I guess I would rather see some fresh faces around here for a change. Somebody that will come in and call a dog a dog, with no special treatment for certain players....Linehan and Billick are both decent coaches but I think/wish, we would just start over and quit trying to bring back a familair face just because we would be "comfortable" with what we know......the fear of change I guess.
