Linehan's extension

I just heard (maybe its old news) that Linehan was offered an extension but did not accept the offer. Plus, if Red decides to fire Tice he will only have to swallow $800 K. If we do not get in, do you think Tice is gone?

at this point i just want the same D Co. for another year so they can play in the same system for a change. An d i think linehan is ok he is why Pep is so good this year, the same system. It all falls back on the D and playing from behind

Only eating 800K to NOT be coach, is more money than Red ever paid him to actually BE the coach.

Red won't fire Tice. Coach Tice comes cheap and Red likes cheap. Linehan I believe see's the writing on the wall and assumes the Vikes will be sold in the next year or two and then he would be out so he may be looking to get a job elsewhere for more money.
