On the lighter side...
At home tonight, out of the blue, one of my twins threw on my hat and grabbed my Viking Football and started posing.
Not one to let an opportunity to pass, I grabbed the Camera and prepared to shoot when I was struck by inspiration (And hateful glances from my Packer fan wife).
"Kyleigh," I said, "Do you want to wear one of Daddy's Jerseys too?"
Well, of course she did. So, off I went to grab one.
Enter the other twin, and one of the older sisters. Of course, seeing Dad with the camera and Kyleigh getting geared up, they wanted in too. So, it was back upstairs for more Jerseys and they gathered up random Viking paraphenalia for the photo op.
..all the while receiving withering glances from my Packer fan wife...
So, I snapped a quick shot when I spotted my Viking sham...aka "The IDEAL Backdrop", and it was back for two more shots we went.
...did I mention the withering glances????

Put up in the gallery.....they need to be resized in general from digital cameras. This eliminates huge bandwith hogging files.
If you want to post them in your message, you need to have them loaded somewhere on the net....and put the url to the pic between the img tags.

Man Caine, is it hard having a Packer fan wife? Is she hardcore for her team as you are for yours? If not, I guess that wouldn't be so bad. I am glad my wife does not know much (if anything) about football. This is about it:Not one to let an opportunity to pass, I grabbed the Camera and prepared to shoot when I was struck by inspiration (And hateful glances from my Packer fan wife).
1. I was (and still am) a life-long Viking fan.
2. Met wife and married unfootball fan wife; no assigned team.
3. Now she is a Viking fan; still pretty oblivious to the Vikes (but thats ok)

Yes, it is...and I'm being polite as kids may see this. I blame the consumption of large quantities of alcohol on this predicament.Man Caine, is it hard having a Packer fan wife?
Ironically, the "Predicament" caused by alcohol consumption provides a compelling reason FOR alcohol consumption.

She can name about 3 players on a good day. She's more of a "I hate anything you like and vice-versa" fan.Is she hardcore for her team as you are for yours? If not, I guess that wouldn't be so bad.

During the games, I can be found glued to the TV wearing one of my Jerseys (Culpepper, Winfield, Hovan, or Herschal Walker (We have the same last name)), my viking socks, Viking hat, and wrapped in my Viking throw blanket.
My kids will often run amock with my Viking flag or football during the festivities.
Further, "I am not here" for phone calls during a game, and if someone comes over, they can shut up or leave. My Mother learned - to her dismay - that even SHE was not exempt from that when she asked if I could turn the TV down during the last Play-Off game.
And, living in hell...errr...Wisconsin as I do, I take absolutely NO crap from Packer fans. Especially after a loss. My Mother-in-Law found that out when she asked who won after the last play-off game (I assumed that she knew, being a Packer fan). My snap answer was, "You know damn well who won!!", as I stared hatefully at the television.
But, I don't believe that I take it too far. I'm simply passionate about my team. And my kids love it.

Good for you Caine!! I am very similar to you! I have a hard time even sitting in the same room as my gf during a vikes game! I feel that since she is a packer fan she will jinx our boys and we will lose for sure!!! All my family knows not to call me during a game winning or losing, that is a huge superstition thing with me!!

I get the most pissed off looks from people with my VKG 4 LFE Wisconsin license plate, and I LOVE IT!!
