Okay... but his weight was 180 last season.

You can say what you want, but don't be surprised if you're back on this site later in the season complaining about Bridgewater's play. He's going to get rattled very easily and won't be able to make the deep throws.
Sorry to offend, but I did not call you ignorant, I said the comparison of Ponder to Bridgewater was ignorant. Ponder was not as highly regarded as Bridgewater coming out of college and they are completely different types of players. And I may be wrong about Bridgewater, but I'd rather lay my bet on a guy who can read a progression and deliver the ball from the pocket like an NFL qb is supposed to. We got the best guy at the position. In th end, we're all wanting the same thing, Vikings wins. Oh, and a kid putting on ten pounds between college and pros isn't that big of a stretch. Ok so he gets to 224-fine.

    Booked and.....oh....wait. DAMMIT!!!!!

    J/K

I do share your concerns about his light conference, however.

The Big East was decent, and Bortles played there too. It's not the SEC, but it's certainly better than the Mountain West where Carr played and whatever irrelevant conference Garropolo played in.

Besides, Bridgewater shined against Florida in the Orange Bowl a couple years ago and absolutely smoked Miami in their bowl game this year.

It's Spielman. I wouldn't rule out the possibility. After all, he did want Ponder, resigned T-Jack, brought in McNabb & brought in Feeley in Miami to be the Dolphins franchise QB.
I thought he resigned T-Jack cause he keep hearing that you needed to see more of him

Eh, I'm more than likely correct about him being a bust. Spielman drafting him actually supports my claim... simply look at the success of Spielman-drafted QB's over the past 15-20 years.

Bridgewater will be a bust. Hate to say it, but I'm usually right on this stuff.

    Michael Vick 8 1/2"

But then again Culpepper's hands are the same size as RGIII's and its not like anybody around here wanted him or even bring up the missed opportunity to pick Kaepernick

Considering there are more busts than playoff champions, that makes sense.

Picking potential losers is a lot easier than picking winners.
