Let's hope we are much like the San Antonio Spurs..
I understand, "Wha?"
Two totally different sports, but see where I'm going with this.
Yes, I understand Culpepper might be done for the year, but let's not worry about that.
Remember when David Robinson went down for the year? They had reasonable expectations that year as usual, but then they proceeded to stink up the joint without him. Guess who they landed in the draft with the #1 pick? Tim Duncan. They proceeded to win an NBA title within two years, because they had a good team before Robinson went down, and proceeded to become a great team. And they still are.
If worst case scenario Culpepper goes down, I'm sure we can come back next year stronger than before, as we are a good team, but obviously nothing without Culpepper. We just need some luck, and a team that plays with heart, if anyone is lacking in that department, we don't need them staying with us past this season. I can see us winning a championship within the next few years, the future looks bright; not bleak.

Football ain't basketball that is for sure.
I think there were a lot more continuity to the Spurs org than the Vikes have at this point. We aren't just adding one guy.
This is what we will probably add in the off season.
Head Coach
Off Co
De Co
and some Rookies
New D scheme
New O scheme
All 53(?) players will have to adjust to all that.

one person makes a big difference when there is only 5 guys on the court. One person in football doesn't make much of a difference. Thats why you can't compare football to B. ball.

We need to blow the team up. But you have to take the rehab in stages. If you blowup too many pieces then you will end up turned upside down. You need to pick what you are going to focus on and then build from there. Hoping you get the other pieces to pick up the slack. We are probaly NOT done with Tice just yet. Looking over the NFL horizon who are you going to get? The team needs better supporting coachs for Tice. Tice was NEVER EVER ready to become a head coach. I'm not MAD at anyone taking a career impovement shot. However it has not worked out very well. Also if you think about it Tice is probaly bad just fine compared to what he is delivering.
