Thread: Let me tell you who really is to blame.......

Sure we can blame the defense for their lousy play the last month.
Sure we can try and blame cully for the oakland game, but the last
time I checked he didn't tackle or cover anybody. Sure we can try
and blame Tice and his whole coaching staff.....but really there is
only one person to blame.....McCOMBS....the owner himself.
If we had the owner that we should have, that other teams have, we
we certainly wouldn't have the record we have and we certainly
wouldn't be looking for someone or something to blame.
To be one of the richest men in America, he continually handcuffs this
team because he won't open up his pockets and let Tice and his staff
sign the free agents that this team so desparately needs especially
on defense. Instead, Tice has to work within a budget and they cont-
inually have to settle for bargains in the market instead of getting
the cream of the crop. Let's not forget that this is one of the
youngest teams in the league because of constant turnover and our fa's
leaving for bigger paydays.
So sure McCombs can raise his hands and say purple pride; but until
he takes those hands and reaches down into his deep pockets we'll
never know what it'll be like to be holding that Lombardi trophy.
