Re: Leinart Released
There is no discussion, Leinart prefers to play from instinct, while Childress insists upon a strict adherence to his play-calling. It's not a good fit.

Re: Leinart Released
The dudes garbage, he's just a wash like every other USC QB outside of Carson Palmer. As sad as it is, I think I'd rather have TJ

Re: Leinart Released
The one reason this MIGHT make sense to Childress is that he could probably make Leinart so bad that TJ actually looks tolerable and that that may buy Childress another 5-6 years to develop him.

Weak arm, poor decision making, thinks he's God's gift to women and football teams, lost support of the coach and locker room.
Jackson > Leinart. Want no part of him, unless we are desperate as hell for a warm body in 2011.SKOL VIKINGS!

Curious as to why you think Webb may not pan out, from what I've seen in pre season I think he could carry this offense today better then Jackson couldPersonally, I'd love to grab him. Really, we have nobody other than Favre. TJ's gone next year, Webb likely will never pan out, and if he does, will take a T-Jack development timeframe to be ready (Should be a new measurement of time). Lienart seems more ready than all of them, and never really had a shot. Got thrown in early, then sat as Warner led that team to two of their best seasons ever as a team. If he doesn't pan out, we lose nothing. If he ends up being mediocre, we're up one. If he becomes a good QB, Awesome.
