Re:Leinart Released
Perfect! He would come cheap and we could cut Jackson and save even more money.

Re:Leinart Released
I heard Curt Warner say last week that he felt Leinhart wasn't getting a fair shake in Arizona.

Yeah. I'm surprised he hasn't panned out. I always figured Leinart would end up being an above average QB.. not great, but I thought his transition to the pro level would be smooth. Totally off there... never figured he had a high ceiling but I thought it would at least be out of the basement.....ThorSPL wrote:

Re:Leinart Released
Leinart is currently team chemisty poison. Just couldn't recognize his worth and accept it in AZ. He has more ego than talent, and thinks everyone is wrong.
This may very well take him down to earth, maybe, took a while for Jeff George.

Re:Leinart Released
Personally, I'd love to grab him. Really, we have nobody other than Favre. TJ's gone next year, Webb likely will never pan out, and if he does, will take a T-Jack development timeframe to be ready (Should be a new measurement of time). Lienart seems more ready than all of them, and never really had a shot. Got thrown in early, then sat as Warner led that team to two of their best seasons ever as a team. If he doesn't pan out, we lose nothing. If he ends up being mediocre, we're up one. If he becomes a good QB, Awesome.

Re: Leinart Released
I would not be averse to picking him up... NEXT YEAR. Not during this season unless we lose Favre to injury. I doubt anyone would be willing to give him a serious multi-year deal right now.
Assuming we make a serious play for McNabb next year, I could see a McNabb/Leinert/Webb trio as workable.

Agreed on all points. +3
