I really dont like Fassel. The two names thrown around most that I like are Jeff Fisher and Scott Linehan.

Fisher will probably keep his job I can't see the Titans firing him they look much better then I thought they would. I don't know if Linehan will feel we disrespected him before and not want to come back but I agree that Fassel would be a horrible option.

    Hrm..

Minnesota Vikings owner Zygi Wilf delivered an "intense" profanity-laced address to the team on Friday regarding the now-infamous sex-boat scandal. During the meeting, Wilf threatened to remove players from the roster who were involved in the planning of the party, according to an article in this week's issue of Sports Illustrated.

Allegedly, 17 Vikings players attended a party on two rented cruise ships on Lake Minnetonka the night of Oct. 6. According to cruise staff members, excessive drinking, lewd public sexual acts and other inappropriate behavior took place at the party.

"This ain't the first time Vikings players have been on Lake Minnetonka with some [women]," a former Minnesota player told SI. "I went out there several times with a few other guys and some strippers, when all of us were single, but we would go on a boat that one of the guys owned, so everything happened in private."

"That [expletive]'s been going on every year," another former Viking told the magazine, "and every year it has escalated."

The article also quotes three players from last year's team who claim that, in a late-season meeting, head coach Mike Tice "offered to fight any team member who wanted a piece of him." None of the players were identified.

Neither Tice nor Wolf could be reached for comment about the article.

    -------

    And now names...

As of late Tuesday, the names of 15 of the 17 Vikings on the charter boats, as identified by crew members, had been made public in various reports. Included on the list were: Culpepper, defensive tackle Kevin Williams, tight end Jermaine Wiggins, receiver Nate Burleson, running back Mewelde Moore and safety Darren Sharper, among others.

According to Doyle, the lawyer for the cruise company, defensive end Lance Johnstone made the down payment with a credit card and cornerback Fred Smoot signed the contract.

    Nice free agent class, eh?

    Re: Lawrence Taylor on Vikes:

in regards to Dungy as a head coach. he's great at what he does, i think he has a knock on him because he never can win the huge game. i hope he does it this year with the Colts and get to the Super Bowl and will finally get a lot of the respect he deserves, just look at the MNF game the other night his team was down 17 points and they came back and hammered the rams.

    Thanks Josdin

I think I said one time before that Billick would IMO pull this team together and make it a contender again. Who knows maybe the coaching staff we have now just might get their heads out of their arses and pull a quality team together on Sundays. Doubtful but I'm trying to stay positive with all garbage that has gone on for the past few weeks.
This year the Vikes D is really going to find out if Farve tastes like chicken and to any Charger fans

    THE CHARGERS SUCK!
