Re: Late Hit on Frerotte No-Call
Gus has a history of concussions, and he probably blacked out. He probably shouldn't be playing pro football. I seriously hope he retires after this year just for the sake of his health, and for his family's sake. It's just too scary. He's doing a really good job for the Vikings right now and I'm cheering hard for him.

Go Vikings!

Re: Late Hit on Frerotte No-Call
How do you guys think he faked it?
He got hit in the fricken head HARD without knowing it was coming at all
He was dazed as hell.. He layed there for awhile not moving but like 5 second after he was kicking his legs
No way did he fake it

They only showed the one angle.
I wouldn't have minded seeing a Viking lineman retaliate either.
Or, rips Orton's head off and punt it through the uprights.
That would've been ok too.

Re: Late Hit on Frerotte No-Call
I dont think Gus had to fake
He knew that was 5 seconds late
Why would he get checked out on the sidelines if he was faking?

if ja did it, yeah it prolly would be since hes seen the commish quite a bit the past couple months.Gus faked it, but it was WAYYYYYYY late. Should be a fine. If JA did that it would be a suspension.
frerotte faking? i highly doubt it. he threw his forearm to the upper part of his back snapping his head, then flopped to the ground. i thought he was dead. (not dead, but definitely knocked out). that hit was even worse than edwards hit on garcia, least both those guys were moving towards eachother, frerotte was just standing there.
edit: maybe not worse than garcias hit but definitely close to it
