for the last time, this is how we stack up against the BEARS
BEARS---------------------------------VIKINGS
256.7 ypg (28th) ---Offense--- 281.1 ypg (26th)
127.0 ypg (31st) ---Passing--- 193.3 ypg (22nd)
129.7 ypg (9th) ---Rushing--- 87.9 ypg (29th)
274.2 ypg (1st) ---Defense--- 328.1 ypg (26th)
31st in the NFL in passing? How are these guys 11-4?

They are 9th in Rushing
ans 1st in defense
Which means they are a grind it out, knock you on your ass football team.
The forward pass used to be illegal. It is glamor, the league has been creating rules to nurture the pass and try and make it eaiser and more abundant because that is what makes all the viewers happy.
Running the ball on the other hand is what gives a team character, it is the most important aspect of an offense.
That IMO is why they have the record they have.

Re: for the last time, this is how we stack up against the B
Well that is how the first string of both teams stack up however from what I read that is not the game we will be seeing. We will be playing guys that don't usually get into a game. They will be resting some of their starters. Its hard to say how this game will go since we haven't really seen either of the teams that will be on the field..

Re: for the last time, this is how we stack up against the B
Our lack of passing has alot to do with who was our QB most of the year. Now that Rex is back and Berrian is healthy its a totally different offense. Yes we will still run the ball, but our options when we want to throw are not only more but deeper.

Whatever they are doing it's working. The Bears remind me of the Ravens when they won the SB.
