Name a pro-bowl player currently in the NFL who went to Notre Dame...

Exactly. No clue why we continually scout that trash-heap.

(PS- Justin Tuck is the only good player from ND currently in the NFL)

What kind of ridiculous argument is that? Who cares about past players from ND. We have 3 young guys from ND and they have nothing to do with the rest of the people from ND in the past. Because the U has so many great players that means we should draft them over the rest of prospects regardless of school?
I am NOT here to provide good football insight or rational observations. I am an emotional 19 year old Viking fan and I expect you to adjust your expectations from my posts.

Circle back and talk to me in 5 years.

Rudolph might be a good TE, but he's no all-star.

I think they're making a turnaround. They seem to have a lot more going for them now than during the Willingham and Weis years.

Either way, Rudolph is no more or less talented because of where he went to school. I'm sure he could have gone just about anywhere he wanted out of high school. If he went to Alabama or LSU, would he be a better player for the Vikings?

A program's alumni success rate in the NFL isn't a fair way to scout players.

yeah. pretty depressing. he has already played a full season and hasn't been voted to the pro bowl yet. what a waste of a pick. especially after all the opportunities our coaching staff has given him in their game planning.
Why must you defend everything this FO does....to the point of making your self look like a yes man.

The pro-bowl is a terrible way to measure player success. Ask London Fletcher, or anybody who watched him spend a decade getting ignored for guys like Urlacher.
