I would love to see the coaches and team try to draw something up for him to get a touchdown this weekend. Obviously, a lot would play into that ... but it would be very special for him and for the Vikings faithful.

If we are on the one yard line, there will be no doubt who gets it

That would be cool, however, my guess, Sauce would love it more if he was the lead blocker on a couple. Kindof his makeup.
I remember back when he and Hovan were younguns on the team. All tatted up and ready to bring the Nasty and not afraid to let the other team know they were going to.
As to the "Best Viking TE Ever". I can agree with that, however it would be hard to convince most fans that a guy who didn't score much was better than a guy like Jordan. Many many thanks to my talented friend Jos for the new Sig.

I have a JimmyK jersey, which I got autographed by Jimmy back in 2005. He's been one of my top-5 favorite Vikings for a long time.
But there is no freaking way he is the greatest TE in Vikings history.
I'd put the list as:
1. Steve Jordan (#3 on the ALL-TIME Vikings receptions chart, behind only Cris Carter and Randy Moss, #6 in receiving yards and #7 in touchdowns)
2. Stu Voigt
3. Jimmy K
=Z=
Thanks to Josdin for the awesome sig!

See, you just proved my last sentence for me.
Besides, I would put him above Stu. I bet if you went and looked they would be within 100 to 125 yards in recieving yardage.
I like Stu, but there is no way he is anywere as close to a contributor to his teams than Sauce was to his. No way. Hell, I'd even go so far as to say if they had a Sauce like TE they might have just one one of those damn SB's.
No way I will disagree with Steve. He is real close to were Joey is in relation to favorite players. Many many thanks to my talented friend Jos for the new Sig.

#1 Jordan. Also high on my list as one of all time fav Vikings
#2 Sauce. Played so well for so long for us. Kept his mouth shut and just played ball. A real blue collar player. Gotta love him.
#3 Stu. Maybe interchangeable with Sauce.
I am glad he is retiring as a Viking. Wish Birk would have worked out the same way.Why must you defend everything this FO does....to the point of making your self look like a yes man.
