    Kleinsasser Retiring at season end

Too Bad. He can still contribute

Kleinsasser Retiring at season end. - Daily Norseman

Kleinsasser for a long time was either the unstoppable force or the immovable object, I will let you people decide on which one. For me he was a favorite to watch as the man did anything the team asked of him, tolerated insane coaching staffs, and put up with ego's galore from some less than savory teammates over the years. The man was here for the highs and the lows and he never complained about it, instead he just went out and did his job on the field.
Why must you defend everything this FO does....to the point of making your self look like a yes man.

Sad times. He was the last player we had from that amazing 98' team. I wish him luck with whatever he choose for his next journey in life. Great player and person.

It has been great to see Sauce play all these years. He will be missed. I imagine we will see him in the coaching trenches one day.

It seems like he has been around that long but he was actually drafted the draft after the 98 season. We drafted the amazing Demetrious Underwood in round one and Sasser in round 2.

He was nearly invisible this year and while I feel he could have been a huge help as a FB apparently the coaches didn't so he is better off riding into the sunset.

    Gonna miss him for sure.

Hmm all these years I would have argued he was on the 98' team. I swear an announcer this year even said he was the last player we had from that team. Even though that isn't saying much.

Going back to 99' is still a long time, and he has done some great things through his career. He will definitely be missed. I think this serves as a perfect time to grab a sasser jersey, one that I have been meaning to get for many years.

Don't blame you. To be honest the biggest reason I know that is because I said the same thing as you at some point and was surprised when I looked back at when he was drafted. It is an easy mistake to make.
