Is Kleinsasser out?

Minneapolis Star Tribune (scroll down) (registration required): "Childress said he spoke recently with tight end Jim Kleinsasser, who now finds himself in a crowded group of tight ends with long-term contracts. It appears the Vikings want Kleinsasser to reduce his $2.9 million base salary. Asked if Kleinsasser would remain with the team, Childress said: 'We'll just see how that goes. He's a member of the Minnesota Vikings and he's a good football player.'

St. Paul Pioneer Press (scroll down) (registration required): "Shiancoe's signing casts questions on Jim Kleinsasser's future, especially since he is due $2.9 million in each of the next two seasons. Teams typically keep three tight ends, and Kleinsasser could be the odd man out."

He's a good blocker and I don't want to see him go, but I have a feeling he doesn't have long with the Vikes or maybee even with any team.

I hope we keep him, it's not like we can't afford him, and he can play FB if he has to.

The man's a beast, I'm pretty sure his mother was a grizzly bear.

As far as Im concerned, V-Shi is Wiggins replacement, not Jimmy K's. They've been working on a contract with Jimmy so that he can retire a Viking.

As it should be.

His mother was actually a dirty polar bear.

Easy to confuse the two.

He is an animal if his knee would get back to the way it was... there was none better at slapin someone sideways to open a hole.
If his health clears up he is worth more. He will be missed if he leaves. At least by me anyways.

His sister was an awesome basketball player, but I don't remember if his mother is a polar bear.
