Kleinsasser may be released?

Mebbe dat's why we signed dat FB from da Rams, named Goodspeed? To replace Kleinsasser as blocker?

I like kleinsasser also but lets be honest, he hasn't done anything in a long time. He would fit so much better in a team like Pittsburgh.

You're agreeing with the man? He did not say Jimmy didn't fit he merely said;

"Under the new coaching philosophy of the West Coast Offense, Kleinsasser may not be the best fit -- making him potentially expendable.

It doesn't say anywhere in there that Jimmy doesn't fit.

Personally, I'd take Childress' word for it any day over a writer sitting behind a desk.

I've always been a fan of the big K.......

I'de hate to see him go, he should retire a Viking, but things like this can happen with FA now adays...

I think you nailed it OMV. Goodspeed is a blocking TE and on the cheap compared to Kleinsasser. I would hate to see him go, but without knowing the whole plan it's tough to guess what will happen. No need to fret yet since it's pure speculation.

Goodspeed is a FB..

Jimmy is a TE/FB.. Too slow for WCO TE? And too expensive to keep around for a FB?

I doubt he wil leave.. We will keep him around im sure.. I hope so too he is a solid all around player.. Catches about as good as Wiggins.. Blocks better..

I always thought that Jimmy was a fast guy, just not nibble. No seriously, didn't he have good speed in the 40????

Yah he is a quick guy I thought too..

I was just trying to guess more of the reason why we wouldn't pay him alot even though we have it..

He is faster then Wiggins im certain of that I guess..

Has to be only the money then
