we obviously need a new kicker ... tice and co.'s lack of faith within aaron elling and his inability to kick 40+ yarders lost atleast 2 games for us last year ... we didn't draft one so does anyone know where we're going with this? ... are we gonna attack free agency?? stick with elling??

Davis: I believe that they got the biggest steal in the draft and I’m going to go in and prove that day in and day out starting with the first day. Then they’ll really realize that they got a steal and I’m going to prove all those teams wrong that didn’t take me. I’m just happy to be a Viking and I’m ready to prove a lot of people wrong. I’m just excited to have an opportunity to play with the best players in the game with Culpepper and Moss. Moss, I think, is one of the greatest players to ever play the game. You should have traded up to draft one in the third round. That's what really smart teams do.
