Khreem Smith is broke.

After making about $190,000 last year playing football in two leagues, including the NFL, Smith's bank account was sacked by taxes, debt, back child support and lawyer fees.

But there's so much more to that story.
I hope he makes the team,has an incredible year, and signs a nice contract.

thats the kind of guy i want on the team someone that will actually work for it and need to work for it... not someone that thinks they deserve it ala Quinn

Good article.
At first I was thinking "How could he be broke after making $175K last year?"
But isn't too far of a reach when you read the article. Sounds like a decent guy too.

Of course he needs better taste in cars.

He seems to be a stand up type of guy, but I hate to say, the odds seem against him.
Someone has to be let go, and I have a feeling because of our depth that is already there, he may be the one.
Then again, maybe and hopefully for his sake, the coaches will want to have him on the team.
Sounds like he's giving it his all to make the team, thats for sure.

And lets not forget, it's in his best intrest to do his best, day in and day out. Because if by chance he does just barely not make the team, there are going to be teams out there looking to pick up some depth at DE, and if the word out there is this guy gives his all but we just didn't have the room for him, someone will be sure to grab him...

No matter what unfolds, it really comes down to him, working hard and giving his all.
Sounds like he's doing that to me...
