Jeff Zulgad, of the Star Tribune, reports Minnesota Vikings vice president of player personnel Fran Foley said the Vikings are not currently engaged in any talks with teams about moving up in the NFL Draft. Minnesota currently has the No. 17 pick in the opening round.

Don Seeholzer, of the Pioneer Press, reports the Minnesota Vikings will conduct a pre-draft visit with Alabama LB DeMeco Ryans Friday, April 14. Because of his size (6 feet 1, 236 pounds), Ryans may be best suited to playing weakside linebacker in the NFL and is projected to go anywhere from the lower half of the first round to the middle of the second.

Great work Prophet!
My one question: Why are we linked with so many College TE's? This has gotta be a smokescreen, and unless the other NFL franchises are retarded, they're gonna see right through it. We're completely set for TE, there's no point in even TRYING to hide that.

That is what I was going to say. Wiggins had been our leading reciever for the past 2 years, why do we need a TE?
