Vikings | J. Carter signed to active roster

The Associated Press reports Minnesota Vikings WR Jason Carter has been signed from the team's practice squad to their active roster.
I really do not know alot about Smith or Patterson. But looking for Depth in the secondary seems like a concern. I assume that it is for special Teams but LB seems like a more logical choice. But I could be wrong

Yay, for JCarter....now throw him the damm ball !!!
Re: From kffl.com: Vikings work out 2 players, Sign J. carter
I'm happy we're giving him a shot, it can't hurt. I'm still hoping T Will will have a miraculous comeback
Re: From kffl.com: Vikings work out 2 players, Sign J. carter
How many times has been signed and realeased now? I f he does play there may be a riot if he he goes 7 catches, 180 yards and 3 TD's
Re: From kffl.com: Vikings work out 2 players, Sign J. carter
I hope Carter gets some plays within the game...any change is a good one right now!
Re: From kffl.com: Vikings work out 2 players, Sign J. carter
Hopefully Carter makes the most of his stay on the active roster.. I have high hopes for him, but I doubt he will tear up the league with BJ behind center..
Re: From kffl.com: Vikings work out 2 players, Sign J. carter
So the cries of many here at PP.O has been heard (again) by the signing of Carter.
Now lets see if he makes the gameday roster, if he gets on the field, and just hope he can live up to these inflated expectations.
Re: From kffl.com: Vikings work out 2 players, Sign J. carter
I thought McMullen and Bethel played very well against GB hopefully they earned a better job than what they had. I do hope Carter gets his chance to shine and I hope he makes the most of it.
I say down with Travis Taylor and regress Williamson's roll.
Re: From kffl.com: Vikings work out 2 players, Sign J. carter
Get that carter goin on the O quickly... he know's the team and i'm sure he can help out, esp get some coverage off T.will as neither BethalJ nor Mullen ever did that.
T.will - M.m(B.j) -------------------------------------------- T.t - (J.c)/M.r
if we did a 4 WR set this would be good depending on where on the field.
in a 3 WR
T.will -- T.t --- J.c
send the TE's short and send the wideouts long.
T.t to float in the center.
now that would open up the field.

??? Down with Travis Taylor? Travis is the leading receiver on this team with the most completions & the most yards.

And odd as it may seem, despite the dropped balls, Williamson is in 2nd.
Glad to see J. Carter might get his shot, but what are you people going to say if he drops balls?
