    Keys to the Game

    Offense
--run the football. against the lions we ran very well, and played well offensivly. agianst the giants we didnt run well and played poorly. the packers can be ran against and they should run to the outside (like the lions game) early, and get grady jackson and co tired, and then run inside later in the game

--protect johnson. this shouldnt be too hard, but we must stop KGB, thier only real threat.

--attack carroll. it will most likely be a compleation or a interference. he can't cover w/o holding. Johnson will most likely take advantage of thier weakness

    Defensively
--get to farve early. we need to hit farve, or just pressure him early. set the tone of the game. in the playoff game last year, clairborn sacked him on the first drive and set up the defense for sucess.

--shut down Gado. in wisconsin they think this gado fellow is the next great RB...after 1 very good game. In a recent poll around 60% said they want him to start next year, over green, davenport and even reggie bush. Favre and this offense is much harder with a running threat. packer fans are very confident he can get 100 yards, maybe too confindent...

--stop Driver. We need to help winfield on covering driver. With the little talent besides driver, we can afford two guys on him.

--watch franks in the red zone. we have trouble covering TE, and franks is a major threat in the redzone

    anything add-subtract-alter?

I agree with your points. I'd just like to add that all this Gado crap is a joke...
The best part of my day is when I get down on my knees, with my head in my hands, and thank GOD for everything he has given me.

    Gado????

He looked good against the Falcons????

It is amazing how they have been looking for a reason not to keep Green.

Good Points in the orig post.

Running on Offense and Pressure on Favre are the keys. Favre, can you say Eraser.

Yes, send K-Rob and T-Will deep and take a few shots here and there.

    Re: Keys to the Game

    More on the "GREAT GADO"

lets look at some numbers of the GREAT GADO, and the forgotton, should be gone GREEN

    Rushing---Att.-yds-avg-tds-fum
    GADO---52-173-3.3-2-2
    GREEN---77-255-3.3-0-1

    Recieving---Cat-yds-avg-tds
    GADO---5-14-2.8-1
    GREEN---19-147-7.7-0

As you can see both average a 'great' 3.3 per carry, but Gado has 2 tds compared to green. but gado has twice as many fumbles as green, who is know as a fumble. to recieving, green has Gado beat in all but tds, where gado only has 1 more.

Many 'experts' have said the line is playing much better compared to earler in the season. This may mean gado has had better blocking compared to green. this can be debated though.

packer fans, and others are raving about Gado, and have written off green. As the number shows it very close. If it wasnt for the 3 gado tds, green would have a clear advantage.

I think this will be Brad Johnson's breakout game. Get ready for a 30 pass attempt game!

    (1) Johnson has to put up some offense - a pass downfield for more than
30 Yards? Is it possible? Too much to ask?
    (2) The game has to be on the defense's shoulders
    (3) And most important - NO STUPID PENALTIES! This is not the game for
revenge penalties. That is what Detroit is for.

    Re: Keys to the Game

    - Win the 3rd downs.
    - Make Favre make tight throws and "take chances", which usually screws him up.
    - "Help" that rookie Vikings corner (!!!)
    - Pass the ball to Mewelde, Michael Bennett, and Wiggy, and the other tight end, Owens.
    - Jam KGB and prevent him from "doing an Urlacher" back and forth all over the field.
    - Just don't make mistakes. We are the better team.
