And Favre is thinking about it.....I honestly hope he gets out.

Although he might as well play the Lions game, maybe the cowboys.

Things won't get real dangerous until the Jets game (Jets have a great pass rush) so.....draw the paycheck through the bye and then hurt his ankle early in the Jets game, take a rest, come back for a few plays in the Cowboys game and call it a career.

Sure as HELL better not play the Packers!!! That would be suicidal. They actually have a great pass rush and are lusting for revenge.

And us without competent pass protection. Doesn't take a rocket scientist.

That makes a lot of sense, especially since the Packers had 0 sacks in two games against the Vikings last year and the Vikings had 14 sacks in those same two games. Yeah, I think they should really worry about the Packers rush.
I am worried. I just saw that the Packers lead the league with 10 sacks.

True enough, but I worry more about the team right behind them with 9.

The Lions, believe it or not.

I agree that you have to look at the here and now.

Here and now, the Jets and the Packers both have excellent pass rushes and the Lions have potential.

As far as sack numbers this year, you have to look at the talent of the teams they played and whether or not the numbers were built up by weak pass protection on the other teams.

It's not always sack numbers anyway.....it is more important how much the QB has to hurry his throws and if he's getting hit hard as he releases the ball on almost every play.

Those things are often KEY......and the Vikings have let it happen to the guy they begged to come out of retirement.

Tough games ahead.....and either pass protection improves dramatically or we're done.
It's what you learn after you know it all that counts.

    Kevin Kolb Being Showcased

I would love to see the Vikings make a move for him. I think he could be great, and he would be an ex eagle. Don't know if there is any truth to the rumor, but I guess we'll see.
I am NOT here to provide good football insight or rational observations. I am an emotional 19 year old Viking fan and I expect you to adjust your expectations from my posts.

I am assuming the title says it almost the whole story, would be nice to have had a synopsis of the article.

Kolb is a good QB, solid. I think the first game was just nerves, Vick took over did well, Kolb had to come back in and wasn't ready, didn't have the reps during the week. Kolb did well in 2 starts.

We will have to wait and see what happens.
