I dont know about the whole salary cap thing but we're about to free some up, chavous, bennett, and Johnstone especailly are making there fair amount and there contracts are up. We got alot of guys to resign so we will see how it goes.

B-Will really changed my opinion on him this year. He had a great solid season, I still love my boy Smoot and you can NEVER have enough quality depth at the CB position.

I think we should keep him, but not at the expense of signing a better FA. I really think resigning him is going to shackle us as far as other signings go though, and I'd really like to see the Vikes pick up a dominant linebacker in free agency.
