Karl Dunbar is the leader of the Minnesota Vikings' 'alpha males'
http://www.twincities.com/sports/ci_11279817
Pat Williams credits him for his Pro Bowl appearances. Kevin Williams says he's a master technician. Jared Allen says he keeps the work environment enjoyable.
That's Vikings defensive line coach Karl Dunbar, the man in charge of maximizing the abilities of 300-pound "alpha males," as he calls them. It's a unique group with personalities equally large, and coaching it requires the right touch, on and off the field.
Dunbar works largely in the shadows of coach Brad Childress and defensive coordinator Leslie Frazier. But those around him recognize the value of Dunbar's coaching style and the trust he has built with his players...Kentucky Vikes Fan

I guess we'll see how a good a coach he is on Sunday.

But with K.Will, he's helped him.
Look at K.Will's stats before Dunbar and then after.
And P.Will, he's helped a TON.
It wasn't until Dunbar that P.Will got his first Pro Bowl.
That speaks volumes in favor of Dunbar.Vegans are eating the rainforests. =(

agreed, i've watched Dunbar a lot at training camp - and have quite a few pictures of him conducting DLine drills, he seems to do a great job getting the players to step up their game."NDVikingFan66" wrote:

I forgot we picked him up, will be interesting to see if he is rotated in with Fred Evans or even Ellis WymsDefensive tackle Jimmy Kennedy, a first-round pick of the Rams in 2003 who signed with Minnesota last month, said he liked what he heard about Dunbar from Pat Williams.

I really liked this acquisition during the heat of controversy.Defensive tackle Jimmy Kennedy, a first-round pick of the Rams in 2003 who signed with Minnesota last month, said he liked what he heard about Dunbar from Pat Williams.
