Chicago's D isn't actually all that good anymore, lots of hype.

    Favre lit em up too
    Yeah no doubt!
But if receivers held on to the ball and the quarterback hit his receiversa most of the time, this game would have been a huge blowout. That's called potential. That's what has me excited about this team. Has the worm turned? Time will tell. Maybe it was just our turn this time. But it's about time it happened.
And it's early enough in the season to salvage the season.
    Time will tell.
But if there is a first step, this could have been it.

    BYW, who is Farve?
A QB who beat Washington today!
Woodson's fumble return for a TD beat Washington today...all Favre did was throw picks and reap the benefits of his defense.
BANNED OR DEAD...I'LL TAKE EITHER ONE

??? Huh? I don't think so yet. Not with all the overthrown & dropped passes I saw today.

I think what is more correct is that the ADO has officially arrived.

The "All Day (Adrian Peterson) Offense" AKA the ADO.

Let it be known on this day, that Singersp officially coined the phrase & the acronym.

maybe we will find out hat we found our niche, which is pound the ball and chuck it deep. Wouldn't that be ironic lol

    Right that KAO arrived today

    Please.

Adrian Peterson arrived today. Childress was talking about his west coast style KAO last year before we had our 2 back system.

Last time I checked, QBs complete more than 9 passes in a WC style system. If it weren't for Adrian Peterson we would have gotten our dimply buttocks kicked today.(Props to Chester as well for giving AD a blow when he needed it)

But give credit where credit is due, and it was not in the play-calling or the passing game. Draw play on 3rd and 12? 9/23 for TJack(I know there were a lot of drops, but still 9/23 is terrible) 180 total yards in the air.

As far as I'm concerned Childress' "Kick-jiggly butt-Offense" is still a myth.
I have heard nothing but run run run for two weeks, and now when we do run, people beeeeyatch.

    ;D

Not picking on you Mr. A but people can't have it both ways. I still haven't had time to go back to the box score, however, I think on that play they wanted the clock to run.

Anyways, I think there was a pretty good mix of run pass which caught the Bears D off gaurd a couple of times.
AD's big runs were in situations were we could have run or pass and the Bears didn't/couldn't stack the box because the pass was working (somewhat).
This is where I think we actually got to see BC make an adjustment!
Holy Shit . . . he adjusted something on the offense.
Maybe he isn't as stubborn as I thought he was!

BC finally decided to run the damn ball.
Not only was it extremely successful (beyond even my expectations), but I think it will help with T-Jacks progess as he doesn't have to win the games with his inexperienced arm.

Keep it up there BC . . . I am now starting to slide towards liking you as a Head Coach.

As usual, I wasn't able to see the game . . . but did our "D" give up or something in the last four minutes of the game?

I for one am glad the OC finally made the decision to go with AP and stick to it the whole game. We could have beat the Packers if we had done the same thing.

AP is a very rare back and after watching his post game interview he also has a great personality. Not a cocky SOB like some athletes.

The team did what they needed to do and will continue to have to do to win games this year
Looks as if he stuck to the run (Chester as well), not jusr AD.

Man. What have I been saying all along?

    FINALLY. Committment to the run.

AD's big runs were on 2nd and 10, 2nd and 10, 1st and 10, and 2nd and 13. We chose to run on what some would consider to be passing downs. It worked beautifully.

43 runs, 24 passes. A 64:36 run pass ratio. Beautiful.

    1 offensive penalty. Beautiful.

It's not the KAO. we still need someone to step up at receiver, but otherwise, simply sticking to the run will take us extremely far.

Where did the "Our OL sucks" crowd go?
