KAO beginning to kick?
Gus- ranked 20th in the league and didn't play the first 2 games
AD- Second in the league in rushing
Berrian- 9th in the league in rec. and leads the league in YPC
Shank- second in the league in TD's for TE's.
9 TD's in the last 2 games.
Hmmmmm. Could it be????????????

Re: KAO beginning to kick?
Our O has certainly improved but seems like we still make a lot of mistakes and are turnover prone this year. Nice that Minnesota finally has some decent fantasy players that I can pick up.

Re: KAO beginning to kick?
Probably a bit to late for some of us to over look how long it took to get kicking.
Lets see what he, and the rest of the coaching staff, do this week in preps for GB. :
Many many thanks to my talented friend Jos for the new Sig.

yeah, this game is crucial!!... and even though our defense played lights out.. i'm still a little concerned about our defense... gave up 244 yards passing in the 2nd half to a backup!!... not GOOD!!...Probably a bit to late for some of us to over look how long it took to get kicking.

plus, us going very conservative in the 2nd half on offense is a concern... first half was amazing... Now that's what I call playcalling.. i think the 2nd half shows the philosophy we and chilly have.. and i don't like it.. get a lead and hold on for dear life... that's the most concerning thing i can think of.... we should be trying to nail them to the tracks and bury them....
If not for a few texans mistakes, that game ends a LOT different...

Re: KAO beginning to kick?
Hopefully the offense continues its upward trend.
If they limit their mistakes they can be a very good offense.

Re: KAO beginning to kick?
Yep, that will be the real test.
Was yesterday a sign of what is to come or was it the one game a year that every team has where they play above themselves and have a way above average performance across the board.
The next few weeks will determine which is the case.

a.
Take away the first drive of the second half and the D played lights out.
What the hell happened at half time?
Anyone could see that they were bound to make a shift at QB.
They should have at least talked about what changes would need to happen.
Again, Leslie hasn't shown me anything worth giving him the head job my friends.
b.
I am not so sure that the offensive play calling changed that much.
Seemed like they did go into more of a clock killing mentality but they still encorporated the pass in with the running game at a pretty decent rate which kept the D on thier heels a bit. Many many thanks to my talented friend Jos for the new Sig.

The offense did change to the extent that they were taking shots into the end zone as a first move as opposed to running it in the red zone like they had been doing earlier in the season. That really loosened things up for Peterson as the game wore on."bleedpurple" wrote:

Re: KAO beginning to kick?
Guess what 21 passes and 32 runs is?
A 60/40 RUN/PASS RATIO.
BOOOOOOYAH!
The KAO will work if we can continue to play clean football."I hate when threads are destroyed by facts and logic."
