    Not too concerned. He plans to be at 315 for the start of 2013, after being at 280 near the end of last season. I think as he gets older it will be easier for him to keep the weight on. Very excited to see what he can do in his second season.

    After enjoying that banner rookie year, Kalil was asked what is different about his experiences in preparing for Year 2.

    “I think just being a lot more comfortable in this environment and knowing my teammates a lot better and kind of being more at ease and getting the routine down,” he said. “I think that’s more different. It’s still the same mindset. I want to work hard and continue to get better and still become a better player.”
    I hope Kalil has the same fire in season two. There is more film on him for defensive coaches to watch, so he has to step up his game to make progress.

    I know as I get older it is way easier to keep the weight on.
