Re: K. Williams contract extension
With Ej coming back next year it'll take some of the 2x dbl team that the williams are demanding.. our Rush D should remain as one of the top.. and hopefully this will help solidify a pass rush that will be just as dominant!!!

Re: K. Williams contract extension
Thats so much money. I hope he makes himself worth being the highest paid DT in the NFL. Is Pat going to be around for another year and continue to dominate?

I think that is what they are hoping for here... Signing K Williams to an extension is a no brainer for the Vikings.. They resigned EJ Henderson to an extension, now I wonder if they will resign N Harris? Having the whole defense back is a good way to get them all on the same page.. If they get better together, they will work better together.. Good to see the Vikes did this now..

Minnesota, MN (AHN) - The Vikings on Friday signed Pro Bowl defensive tackle Kevin Williams to a seven-year contract extension.
ESPN reported the extension is worth about $16 million in roster bonuses and could reach a maximum value salary of $50 million.
The 26-year-old joins left offensive tackle Bryant McKinnie and linebacker E.J. Henderson as recent Vikings to have been locked up to long-term deals.
Williams was scheduled to earn a base salary of $736,500 for next year, but is now expected to pocket $2 million.
This season Williams has registered 33 tackles and five sacks.
